Maureen Redler article, page 3 of 3

There are nineteen states which have laws criminalizing sexual contact between fiduciary persons and their charges.  The punishments include huge fines and jail time.  Similar
legislation is being pursued in Alabama.
If you are the victim of sexual exploitation by a teacher, police officer, lawyer, therapist, doctor, social worker, or clergy, you are not alone.  You may log onto
http://www.Advocateweb.org

Advocateweb is a huge network with links to assistance for victims and their families, professionals, and abusers.  Information is available for all types of sexual abuse.
Another excellent resource is available specifically for survivors of sexual abuse by teachers:  Survivors of Educator Sexual Abuse and Misconduct Emerge(S.E.S.A.M.E.) which is mentioned on the "Related Sites
" page on this website.  S.E.S.A.M.E.'s website is located at:  http://members.tripod.com/~sesame3/index.html
You may also contact local crisis intervention services in your area.
